Download
Peering for Mac, and Peering for iPhone.
Peering for Mac
- macOS 26 or later.
- About 20 MB. Signed and notarised, so it opens without a warning.
- Updates itself. The app checks once a day, and can be asked from Peering → Check for Updates.
If the download fails, no release has been published yet: the disk image lands at this address as part of publishing a version, not before it. Publishing is documented in the relay's README.
Peering for iPhone
Not out yet. When it is, this page will carry the App Store badge and the link, and until then there is nothing to install: the Mac app on its own cannot be reached from anywhere.
Which Macs it runs on
Any Mac that runs macOS 26, Apple silicon or Intel. Sharing a screen needs Screen Recording permission, which macOS asks for the first time you choose a display; the app explains what it needs and why at that moment rather than at launch.
Before you install
Peering reaches your Mac from another network through a relay, and the free plan includes half an hour of relay time every day. The Relay plan raises that to three hours a day, and Relay Plus and Pro are not metered. Connecting over your own network is free and unlimited. The Privacy Policy says exactly what the relay handles and what it cannot read; the Terms of Use are short.
