Help with Peering for iPhone and Peering for Mac.

Email [email protected]. Say which iPhone and Mac you use and what you expected to happen. Replies usually come within one working day.

On the Mac, Report an issue in the menu bar panel opens an email with the app version and macOS release already filled in.

Getting started

1. Install Peering for Mac and allow Screen Recording and Accessibility when it asks.
2. Open Peering on your iPhone. On the same network it finds the Mac by itself.
3. Compare the six digits both screens show, and confirm on both.

The pairing guide covers every step, including pairing from another network with the Mac's QR code.

If it will not connect

• Update both apps. The iPhone and Mac apps must be the same version to connect. On the Mac, choose Peering → Check for Updates.
• Check the Mac is hosting. The menu bar icon's dot is blue or green when it is, and red when it is stopped.
• Allow local network access for Peering on the iPhone, in Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network.
• Keep the Mac awake. A sleeping Mac cannot answer. See keeping a Mac reachable.

Subscriptions

Plans are bought and managed through the App Store. To cancel or change a plan, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. To restore a purchase on a new iPhone, use Restore purchases on the plans screen in the app.

Privacy

Peering has no accounts and keeps nothing about your sessions on a server. The Privacy Policy says exactly what the relay handles.
